Hear Code Orange's Eerie New Theme for WWE's Bray Wyatt, a.k.a. the Fiend

Last night, August 11th, WWE wrestler Bray Wyatt returned for his first match under his new persona "The Fiend," stalking and slinking his way into the ring to music by none other than Pittsburgh hardcore heroes and Revolver favorites Code Orange. The villain, wearing a horrifying mask by Tom Savini's FX team, crept into the arena amid a flurry of smoke and flashing lights while his new theme raged in the background at a tectonic pace, showcasing the band's dynamically sludgy abilities. The event, a SummerSlam PPV, marked Code Orange's second pairing with the WWE, following a collaborative performance with Incendiary's Brendan Garrone of Aleister Black's theme at 2017's NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

Wyatt had spent several months away from wrestling, but kept his fans at the ready by releasing a stream of eerily silly vignettes from a mock children's show called Firefly Fun House. The fucked-up Mr. Rogers-style scenario showed off his new mask created in conjunction with Savini's team, and had viewers chilled to the bone with his childlike delivery of lines like, "It's almost time to show the world what I've really been working on."
