In early 2018, Cleveland hardcore favorites In Cold Blood shared their first new music in three years, "The Wretched Souls," along with the announcement of a forthcoming full-length Legion of Angels.

The band, featuring former members of Integrity, among others, first made waves with 1998's Hell on Earth, which was a revelation of brutal metallic riffs and hardcore that became an instant classic. A decade after that, in 2009, the group released their follow-up via A389 Records, Suicide King. Continuing their ten-year cycle, this August 23 will see the arrival of Legion of Angels on Fast Break! Records.

Today, July 9th, In Cold Blood are giving a preview of what's to come with the premiere of "No More Lies," a brutal and shape-shifting track that will please fans of the band, as well as devotees to All Out War, early Neurosis and others. Check it out below.

"Musically, 'No More Lies' is probably the most ambitious song on the record," says guitarist/vocalist Blaze Tishko. "Drawing from At the Gates and Integrity, with a bridge that resembles something that is so off the wall I'm not even sure where it came from. When our producer and engineer Bill Korecky first heard it, he described the bridge as something that reminded him of William Wallace triumphing over bloodied bodies in a field in the hills of Scotland. The lyrics were inspired by an ex-friend who had spend the better part of his life lying to all of us about his intentions with our music."
