Later this fall, Converge will drop The Dusk in Us, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2012's All the Love We Leave Behind. Ahead of the record's November 3rd arrival via Epitaph/Deathwish, the New England hardcore luminaries have unveiled a moody new cut titled "Reptilian." Like last summer's one-off "Eve," the track showcases Converge's less-spastic side by way of hulking, Neurosisesque sludge, serrated breakdowns and, as always, Jacob Bannon's gut-wrenching vocals. "Reptilian" follows previously-shared singles "I Can Tell You About Pain" (which the band released on a 7-inch backed with the aforementioned "Eve") and "Under Duress."
