Hear Deftones' Chino Moreno Croon on Trippie Redd's New Song "GERONIMO"

Rapper's first rock album also features Travis Barker, ZillaKami and more

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has been keeping very busy while sidelined from the road by the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, there was a stunning new 'Tones LP, Ohms, and a 20th anniversary edition of White Pony complete with a companion-piece remix album, Black Stallion, plus the first music from Moreno's side project Crosses in six years, a cover of Cause & Effect's "The Beginning of the End."

Now, to kick off 2021, Moreno appears on rap hit-maker Trippie Redd's first-ever rock album, NEON SHARK vs. Pegasus [Deluxe - Presented by Travis Barker], which was released today (February 19th). In addition to Moreno and Blink 182's Barker, the record also features Machine Gun Kelly and trap-metal artists Scarlxrd and ZilliKami. For his part, Moreno's contribution takes standout song "GERONIMO" to shimmering alt-rock heights reminiscent of Deftones' mellower, more shoegazing excursions. Listen above.
