The fourth single off the groove-metal stalwarts' new album, Dealing With Demons I, was inspired by Fafara's wife Anahstasia's battle with cancer, and it showcases a darkly romantic side to DevilDriver's typically aggro approach, with the singer making a solemn promise to a troubled loved one. "In the hanging garden where the dead flowers bloom/It's the root of all evil, filled with death rot and gloom," he intones. "And if you take my hand from that very lost place/I will lead you through darkness to that very safe space."
