Hear Doomsayers Windhand Crush Hearts With Bleak, Beautiful New Song "Diablerie"

Richmond outfit gears up for new 'Eternal Return' LP with latest fuzz-soaked single

Virginian doom-grunge crew Windhand are back with their distinctive blend of otherworldly psychedelic doom and bleakly beautiful vocals with "Diablerie," the latest single off their fourth LP Eternal Return, due October 5th. The track highlights the emotional pull of singer Dorthia Cottrell's voice while the band doles out the hard and heavy fuzzed-out riffs their fans love.

If the pattern established with this track and lead single "Grey Garden" continues, Windhand are allowing Cottrell to soar more cleanly than before on this record. There's a poignant ennui grounded in the impenetrable fuzz that gives Windhand a more serious air to them than other bands playing modern psych. Pre-orders for Eternal Return are available now via Relapse
