Hear Evanescence's New Anthem "Use My Voice" Featuring Lzzy Hale, Taylor Momsen, More

Within Temptation's Sharon den Adel and violinist Lindsey Stirling also guest

Evanescence singer Amy Lee has been very politically outspoken over recent years, so it would make sense that as Election Day creeps ever closer, she would use her platform to call for other to speak up — be it via song or social media or the ballot box — no matter the consequences. To that end, Lee has assembled a lineup of badass women, both famous friends and family members, to assist her on a timely new anthem titled "Use My Voice." Joining her on the song are the Pretty Reckless' Taylor Momsen, Halestorm's Lzzy Hale, violinist Lindsey Stirling, Within Temptation's Sharon den Adel, Lee's sisters Carrie South and Lori Lee Bulloch, Evanescence guitarist Troy McLawhorn's wife Amy and, last but not least, Veridia's Deena Jakoub, who co-wrote the song. Hear it above.

"This is an era of awakening, and full of powerful beauty," Lee commented of the song. "I hope to inspire others to seek truth, find their own voices and use them as I step up to use mine. Don't let anybody speak for you. Only you can do that."

"Use My Voice," which will appear on Evanescence's forthcoming new album, The Bitter Truth, is also featured in and serves as the namesake of the band's new voter-registration and vote-ready campaign with the non-profit HeadCount.
