Hear Fear Factory's Crushing New Song "Disruptor"

Embattled industrial-metal vets give taste of first album in 6 years

If you've been following the metal gossip blogosphere then you know that Fear Factory have been embroiled in some heated "he said, he said bullshit," to paraphrase the immortal Limp Bizkit. After years of legal battles, inter-band turmoil and ever-shifting lineups, OG singer Burton C. Bell quit the group in 2020 to focus on his goth project Ascension of the Watchers, and founding guitarist Dino Cazares has taken sole control of the veteran industrial-metal ship, with the two hurling barbs at each other in the press since.

Emerging from this unpleasantness is a new Fear Factory album, Aggression Continuum, which was recorded with Bell prior to his acrimonious split. The 10-track effort is due out June 18th via Nuclear Blast and presaged by the crunchy, concussive lead single "Disrupter." Fans of the band's three most recent albums, 2010's Mechanize, 2012's The Industrialist and 2015's Genexus, will not be disappointed. Blast it above.
