Hear Of Feather and Bone Conjure Death Metal From Hell on Blistering New Song

Denver crew deliver complete suffocating heaviness with "Resounding From the Depths"

For many, the best sort of death metal is completely suffocating. Denver, Colorado, crew Of Feather and Bone would seem to agree with that, focusing all their energy in making disgustingly intense rippers. This spring they're set to release their debut album Bestial Hymns of Perversion, and today are premiering "Resounding From the Depths" (because the sickest death metal needs extremely long titles). The song kicks in with a thick layer of riffs that feels a lot closer to being attacked by hornets than it does listening to "music." There is subtlety at work to the band's destruction, however, as the band melds in grooves and slow downs that keep one on their toes. It's chaos, but carefully architect for maximum ruin.

Of the song, the group says, "A blend of chaotic blasts, unrelenting d-beat influence and slow and somber cavernous aesthetic, 'Resounding From the Depths' is a showcase of the versatile elements we include in the writing style on this new record."
