Earlier this year, Fit for a King raged back with the stand-alone song "Reaper," the metalcore stalwarts' first new music since 2020. Today (August 11th), they followed up with the announcement of their seventh album, The Hell We Create, and the premiere of its lead single, the whirlwind "End (The Other Side)." Blast it above via its cinematic music video.

"'End (The Other Side)' is one of the most personal songs I have ever written, lyrically," singer Ryan Kirby commented. "This song is about my wife's near-death experience, after having a stroke, and how the experience not only showed me how unprepared I was to lose her, but also how unprepared I am to face death. I am fortunate to have not dealt with much death in my life, but I learned, in the end, that death comes for us all."

Speaking of the album as a whole, he added, "It is a reflection of the events that happened throughout the pandemic. In short, my wife and I adopted children and had to homeschool them. She almost died from a stroke. The Hell We Create is by far the deepest and most personal record we've ever written."

The Hell We Create, which is due October 28th via Solid State Records, is available for pre-order in an array of collectible formats including a Revolver-exclusive "blood red" vinyl variant, limited to 300. Order yours at our shop.
