Hear Five Finger Death Punch Get Symphonic on New Song "Inside Out"

Groove-metal hitmakers announce eighth album 'F8'

Five Finger Death Punch have a massive 2020 ahead of them. Today (December 2nd), the platinum-selling hard-rock quartet announced their eighth studio album, F8, and a big headlining tour with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills (see the itinerary below). They also dropped the lead single off F8, the crunching "Inside Out," which opens with a soaring symphonic intro before kicking into FFDP's patented mix of chugging post-nu-metal pummel and hooky sing-along choruses.

"We had an extremely successful, yet tumultuous couple of years as a band," commented guitarist Zoltan Bathory, referencing singer Ivan Moody's in-and-out status with Five Finger due his battles with alcoholism, as well as the band's 2018 split with drummer Jeremy Spencer. "We didn't just weather the storm but came out on the other side better than ever. It was a focused sober group recording, our most important album to date and without a question it shows." Moody added, "This album represents rebirth, progression, transcendence both personally and musically. This record to me is 'absolution' — everything I've done in my life has led up to this moment."
