Hear In Flames Embrace Folk-Metal Roots on New Song "Foregone: Pt. 2"

Another throwback cut from Swedish pioneers

Revolver has teamed with In Flames for an exclusive white vinyl variant of their new album, Foregone. Only 300 made, so order yours now!

In September, In Flames offered up "Foregone: Pt. 1," a raging melodeath cut of their highly anticipated upcoming new album or (almost) the same name. Today (November 7th), the Swedish veterans have unveiled that song's companion piece, which leans into the Nordic folk-metal stylings that they explored in their early days. Check it out via its official music video above.

In Flames vocalist Anders Fridén commented, "While revisiting songs in our catalog like 'Moonshield' and 'Gyroscope,' I felt we hadn't done that style for awhile. We wanted honor those types of songs which incorporates the Swedish folk vibe, but bring it to the current era of In Fllames. Musically and lyrically, it is a continuation of 'Foregone.'"

Foregone is out February 10th via Nuclear Blast and is now available for pre-order in a variety of formats, including a Revolver-exclusive 2LP white vinyl variant limited to 300 copies. Order yours from our shop!
