Hear FOO FIGHTERS' mesmerizing new song "Show Me How" featuring Violet Grohl

Third single off upcoming 'But Here We Are' album

Last night (May 24th) the Foo Fighters played their bittersweet first show since the tragic 2022 death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins, and today they've followed up with a new song, "Show Me How," the third single off the group's highly anticipated new album, But Here We Are.

In contrast with the two previous singles, the more rocking "Rescued" and "Under You," "Show Me How" is a soothing dream-pop cut, featuring guest vocals from Dave Grohl's daughter Violet. The song arrived along with a fittingly tranquil visualizer video. Watch and listen above.

Thematically, the new single is similar to its predecessors in that it, too, clearly finds the band still processing their grief over Hawkins' passing. "Where have you gone?/I walk in circles/Back to square one," it opens, but closes on a more hopeful note: "I'll take care of everything."

Though Josh Freese (Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, etc.) was recently revealed as the Foos' new live drummer, Dave Grohl has confirmed that he plays the drums heard on But Here We Are.

The album is due out June 2nd on Roswell Records/RCA Records and available for preorder now.
