Hear FOO FIGHTERS' new 10-minute rock epic "The Teacher"

Longest song in band history

Foo Fighters' highly anticipated new album, But Here We Are — the group's first since the tragic 2022 death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins — is right around the corner, and today (May 30th), Dave Grohl and Co. offered up the LP's fourth single, the 10-minute epic "The Teacher."

The preceding singles, the dream-pop-inflected "Show Me How" and the more hard-rocking "Rescued" and "Under You," represented contrasting sides to the Foos' sound. "The Teacher" — the longest song in the band's history — covers it all.

The single arrived accompanied by a short film directed by multimedia artist Tony Oursler, who came onto Foo Fighters' radar through his work with David Bowie, specifically, his video for Bowie's 2013 single "Where Are We Now?" Watch and listen above.

But Here We Are is due out June 2nd on Roswell Records/RCA Records and available for preorder now.
