Hear 'Ghostbusters' Theme Song Covered in Style of Ghost

Ray Parker Jr.'s 1984 hit gets heavy reworking in this Cardinal Copia–inspired cover

New York musician Watt Wyatt (or WWIII) has recorded and released his own version of the 1984 classic Ray Parker Jr. Ghostbusters theme song. The catch? He's done so in the style of Swedish occult rockers Ghost, and managed to capture the essence of the band remarkably well, including the Papa Emeritus / Cardinal Copia (aka Tobias Forge) vocal style with stunning accuracy.

A professional endeavor for sure, the track includes intricate keys, guitar solos, and even choir-style backup vocals to round out the production. Up until now, Wyatt's output has included mostly spoofs of other bands like Sublime and a Walking Dead parody that use paper doll-style puppets. Check out his full back catalog on his YouTube channel.
