Ghost's covers EP, Phantomime, is here! Today (May 19th), Papa and the Ghouls unleashed the full five-song project that features renditions of Genesis' "Jesus He Knows Me," Iron Maiden's "Phantom of the Opera" and other classic tunes — including a very Ghost-ian reinvention of Tina Turner's 1985 New Wave smash "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)."
Recorded by Turner for the soundtrack of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which she starred in, the song already had the sort of epic, sci-fi vibes that Tobias Forge channels into Ghost, making it a surprisingly natural choice of cover song.
