Hear Godsmack's New Song "You and I" From First Album in 4 Years

New record 'Lighting Up the Sky' due out February 2023

Godsmack have formally announced their new album, Lighting Up the Sky. This will mark Godsmack's eighth album, their first since 2018's When Legends Rise, and, according to recent comments made by frontman Sully Erna, it will be the band's final studio album, after which they'll allegedly only exist as a live act.

A couple months back, the hard-rock band gave listeners a taste with a hooky, heartfelt new song called "Surrender," and today (November 11th) they've dropped another new song called "You and I." Check it out above via YouTube.

"I like when a record takes you on a journey from front to back," Erna said in a press release. "I realized there's a whole story here about one man's journey, the ups, and downs. I believe it's a story everyone will connect to, on a human level, because we've all gone through things in life."

Lighting Up the Sky is due out February 24th via BMG Records and it's now available for pre-order. Check out the cover art and tracklist below.
