Hear GRAVE PLEASURES bring the "blood disco" on new song "Society of Spectres"

Finnish post-punks announced first album in 6 years

Grave Pleasures have announced their third full-length, Plagueboys, the long-awaited follow-up to 2017's Motherblood, and offered up its lead single, "Society of Spectres." For those unfamiliar with the group, the Finnish post-punk firebrands are led by vocalist Mat McNerney, a.k.a. Kvohst, known for black-metal outfits including Dødheimsgard and Code, the "psychedelic forest folk rock band" Hexvessel, and collaborations with Behemoth frontman Nergal, Carpenter Brut and others.

Jangly, haunting and oddly danceable, "Society of Spectres" arrived today (January 13th) along with an eerie, occult-themed music video. Watch and listen above.

"This song walks down a dark and crooked path that transcends into a nightmarish blood disco layer," Grave Pleasures guitarist Juho Vanhanen, also of Oranssi Pazuzu, commented. "That's the place where all the ghouls gather to celebrate the downfall and feed on the masses."

Plagueboys is due out April 21st and available for pre-order now.
