Child Soldier: Creator of God — the debut solo album from former Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato — is without doubt one of the year's best records, an adventurously diverse offering that encompasses gnarly industrialized metal, high-octane alt rock, sultry synth-pop and more. Originally due out on October 23rd, the 15-song album has hit Bandcamp already, a full three weeks early, following an unauthorized album leak that began spreading through online communities. Child Soldier will arrive on all digital service providers Friday, October 9th, while vinyl will ship on the original release date. Stream the album below, as well as the new single "Down When I'm Not" via Spotify's "All New Rock" playlist.

Puciato appears on one of the collectible covers of Revolver's Summer 2020 Issue and opens up about the inspiration and vision behind Child Soldier: Creator of God. In addition to the magazine cover and interview, Revolver has teamed with the musician for two very special pieces of vinyl you can only find here: a white, 180-gram 2LP edition of Child Soldier: Creator of God, limited to 500, and a transparent swamp green 7-inch single of "Roach Hiss," also limited to 500. Both are available in a deluxe collector's bundle that also includes a special-edition slipcase printed by Dominion Carton, custom designed to perfectly fit, display and protect your magazine.

Puciato commented of the leak and Child Soldier's early release, "I can't believe this is a thing someone thought would be cool to do to an independent artist in 2020, but some dipshit 'reviewer' (we know who it was) leaked my record. Younger me would've put his name out there for everyone to see… but we're going to use this as a chance to highlight the importance of being adaptable, flexible, and able to roll with the punches and call an audible. Shit happens and you need to be able to move quickly to adapt. Would I like everyone to go buy a digital copy now, or check it out on a streaming site next Friday? Yeah, that'd be cool. Vinyl will still be shipping around the original release date of Oct. 23rd. We still have some copies of the European variant and the Australian variant remaining ... feel free to check 'em out here (https://gregpuciato.tmstor.es) and here (https://www.nervegas.com.au/GregPuciato), along with various other pieces of merch.

"We're also cooking up something cool and related... I can't really spill the beans on that yet....but will do so very, very soon."
