Attention all motherfucking liars: GWAR are coming for your throats. Back in January, the band of delightfully disgusting alien creatures announced their new album, The New Dark Ages, along with a companion graphic novel titled GWAR in the Duoverse of Absurdity. Both the LP and the book are due out June 3rd (with vinyl and cassette arriving September 16th via GWAR's own label Pit Records) and today (April 26th) they've unloaded its latest single on our ears, and by god are they fired up.
Aptly titled "Mother Fucking Liar," the song has an early Nineties New York hardcore bounce to it that delivers one simple message loud and clear — "one thing I hate is a motherfuckin' liar." And if that chorus isn't frank enough, vocalist Blöthar the Berserker is here to drive it home for those in the back. "This song is for anybody who's sick of all the pieces of shit talking out of both sides of their mouth. Motherfuck a motherfucking liar."
