Hear Hatebreed's Pummeling New Song "Weight of the False Self"

Jamey Jasta and Co. drop title cut off delayed eighth album

Hatebreed originally intended to drop their forthcoming eighth album back in May, but the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench in their plans. Today (September 11th), the New England hardcore stalwarts have announced a new release schedule for the LP, titled Weight of the False Self, and unleashed its barreling, motivational title cut and lead single. The 12-track album, which is available for pre-order, is now set to arrive via Nuclear Blast on November 27th. Drummer Matt Byrne commented, "There's no shortage of beefy-riffs and adrenaline-fueled-drums on this record. I'm proud to say that we will consistently provide a soundtrack to which you can mosh in your living room and destroy your apartment." Guitarist Frank Novinec added, "Weight of the False Self is a perfect representation of Hatebreed in 2020, a fresh onslaught of soon to be classics with all the elements that led you here since day one."
