$uicideboy$'s upcoming 22-date North American Grey Day Tour features an astutely curated lineup of forward-thinking hardcore-punk bands (Turnstile, Trash Talk) and cutting-edge rappers (Denzel Curry, Pouya, City Morgue, etc.). It's a very 2019 mash-up of sounds that plays out, as well, on Live Fast, Die Whenever, the NOLA duo's newly released collaborative EP with blink-182 drummer and noted hip-hop head Travis Barker. Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer also pops in, lending his inimitable down-tuned guitar assault to three of the six tracks, which flaunt $uicideboy$'s punk-rock and metal influences like never before, not just in the music but also in Ruby da Cherry and $crim's aggro vocal approach.
