Hear Highly Suspect's Catchy New Songs "Ice Cold" and "New California"

Latest tastes of upcoming 'The Midnight Demon Club' LP

Highly Suspect are nothing if not diverse. In June, the alt-rock shape-shifters and Gojira buddies announced their fourth full-length, The Midnight Demon Club, and unveiled two new songs, "Natural Born Killer" and "Pink Lullabye," which showcase contrasting sides of their fractured personality. Today (August 5th), the band, helmed by twin brothers Rich and Ryan Meyer, offered up another pair of tunes that similarly reflect alternate sonic approaches: the danceable "Ice Cold" and the punkierĀ "New California." Stream them above and below via YouTube.

"Life comes at you fast," vocalist-guitarist Johnny Stevens, a.k.a. "Terrible Johnny," commented of the upcoming album in June. "We are constantly reminded of this, and perhaps no greater occurrence will spark the imagination more than the death of a loved one. In my experience, it's during these moments of processing great loss that the mind is completely focused on 'what if's' as we try and escape what is. The Midnight Demon Club is about becoming the best version of yourself after tragedy, so it's a second chance on life with a happier mindset. The Midnight Demon Club is all about having fun and keeping it moving. Because as we all know, this life is way too short."

The Midnight Demon Club is due out September 9th via Roadrunner Records/FRKST and available for pre-order now.
