Hear Ho99o9 Throw Down on Prodigy's New Song "Fight Fire With Fire"

Rap-punk duo assists U.K. electronic crew on latest banger

U.K. firestarters the Prodigy have always embraced snarling punk-rock attitude in their genre-busting electronic music, and on their new album, No Tourists (due November 2nd), they've enlisted like-minded genre-smashers — and Revolver favorites — Ho99o9 for one of the tracks, titled "Fight Fire With Fire." Far from the Metallica cover that some headbangers might wish it to be, the cut is a funky, glitchy rap-rock banger not far removed from either Prodigy or Ho99o9's more hip-hop–inflected output.

"This was the first track I wrote for this album," says Prodigy founder Liam Howlett. "As far as doing a collaboration, the Ho99o9 guys were the main band I wanted to work with, and this tune has so much danger embedded in it. It's the best collaboration we have done."

Ho99o9 will support the Prodigy on select upcoming U.K. dates. For more on Ho99o9, read Revolver's recent cover story and join the rap-punk duo on the road in the original documentary below.
