Hear Howard Jones Roar on Violent New Breed's High-Octane New Song "Bury Me"

Ex-Killswitch Engage, current Light the Torch singer adds heavy hooks to metalcore act's soaring single

Los Angeles musician Max Green cut his teeth as the bassist-vocalist for post-hardcore favorites Escape the Fate, but since 2014 he's been leading his own group Violent New Breed, which also features Shawn Mcghee, Sean Russel and Jerry Lee. Today, May 31st, the band has teamed with Revolver to unleash the new Mcghee-produced single "Bury Me" and its high-energy music video.

Roping in the great Howard Jones — of Killswitch Engage and Light the Torch fame, of course — for the proceedings, VNB practice punchy, hooky metalcore, weaving in clean and screaming vocals throughout the straightforward yet stylized performance clip, directed by Orie McGinnis.

Check it out for the first time above, and look for the upcoming LP, Bad Reputation, via SBG Records "later this year."

Below, watch Howard Jones and Light the Torch's entire hour-long set from their first-ever live performance.
