Revolver has teamed with I Prevail for an exclusive vinyl variant of True Power on "what's underneath" colored wax — limited to 400 copies. Get yours from our shop!
I Prevail have made their name blurring the lines between pop and metal — remember their viral cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space"? That said, today (June 17th) the Michigan post-hardcore crew dropped a new single, "Body Bag," and, well, this shit ain't pop.
True to its title, the song takes no prisoners: Eric Vanlerberghe's unclean vocals dominate atop bludgeoning riffage, stomach-churning drops and even the opportune blast beat. When Brian Burkheiser chimes in with the cut's catchy refrain, it serves as a welcomed respite from the brutality. Crank the track above via its high-energy music video.
Fittingly, "Body Bag" is the first single from the band's long-awaited new album, True Power, which they also announced today. Following their Grammy-nominated 2019 breakthrough album, Traumatic, the record is due out August 19th via Fearless Records and is currently available for pre-order in a variety of formats.
One of those is a Revolver-exclusive vinyl variant on "what's underneath" colored wax that's limited to just 400 copies worldwide. Get yours from our shop and peep the tracklist and album art below.
