Hear If I Die First's New Song "My Nightmares Would Do Numbers as Horror Movies"

Post-hardcore supergroup features Lil Lotus, First to Last's Travis Richter and more

Post-hardcore outfit If I Die First are a genre-crossing supergroup featuring From First to Last guitarist Travis Richter and drummer Derek Bloom, emo-rap artists Lil Lotus and Lil Zubin and producer Nedarb. They're gearing up to release a split EP with Revolver favorites SeeYouSpaceCowboy, titled A Sure Disaster, on May 14th via Pure Noise. (You can pre-order it now.) The split features two new songs from each band as well as one collaborative cut, "bloodstainedeyes," which the groups premiered in March. Now, IIDF has offered up one of their individual contributions, "My Nightmares Would Do Numbers as Horror Movies," along with its fright-flick-themed music video. Watch and listen above.

If I Die First's Zubin commented of A Sure Disaster: "This became so much more than just a split for me. During such dark and uncertain times it was hard to find a light to stay inspired, and this project sparked that. Getting together, feeding off each other's energies, laughing, the whole process kept me sane. We wrote songs that I am extremely proud of and we also gained lifelong friends." Nedarb added, "This split means a lot to me. It's two bands that share the same passion and everyone's energy vibes off each other perfectly. I hope everyone enjoys the project as much as we do."
