Iron Reagan are set to return with another crossover thrash monster, this time a four-track EP, Dark Days Ahead, due October 12th via Pop Wig Records. The lead single is "Patronizer," which sees frontman Tony Foresta (also of Municipal Waste) in a more melodic vocal light than usual as he navigates the typically thrashy waters of Iron Reagan's crossover approach. While the track traces a somewhat different path for the band, it's still very much in pocket in terms of their overall modus operandi — fist-clenching riffs readymade for the mosh pit and sure to induce neck pain after repeat playback. After all, some of these guys literally invented the term "bangover."

Regarding the release, Foresta says, "A lot of these tracks were written during the recording sessions for Crossover Ministry, but didn't fit with that album. We've been friends with the Trapped Under Ice guys for years and are stoked to get these tracks out on their label."

Nonbelievers, haters and fans alike can all head below for a stream of that ripper "Patronizer," as well as pre-order up a copy of Dark Days Ahead via Pop Wig.
