Hear Jason Momoa Roar With Philip Anselmo on Scour's New Song "Doom"

Aquaman channels Norway's finest on black-metal scorcher

Diehard metalhead and Aquaman himself Jason Momoa has sung with Philip Anselmo before: He jumped onstage with his kids to bellow along to Pantera's "This Love" during Anselmo's set before Slayer's final show. But now, the actor has appeared on an actual studio recording with the heavy-metal lifer, delivering his best black-metal croak on a new song, "Doom," from the Anselmo-helmed supergroup Scour, which also includes members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index and more. Blast it above.

"Doom" is featured on Scour's forthcoming new EP, Black, due out November 27th on Nuclear Blast. You can grab a copy now on 10-inch vinyl via the Revolver store.

"This is our most fierce and ripping album to date," guitarist Derek Engemann commented. "Completing the EP trilogy, the Black EP brings a more mature musical approach without compromising the utter relentless brutality." Based on "Doom," we cannot disagree.
