Philadelphia's Hell to Pay may feature members of Jesus Piece, but the band is more than just a side project from the fist-clenching faves — and one listen to "Thrive" solidifies that. The second track from the hardcore outfit's forthcoming LP Bliss (due March 16th via GTR Records) is a maelstrom of blasts, buzzsaw guitarwork and pit-ready riffage engineered to bring out your inner caveman. Stream it below for the first time.

"'Thrive' is about power structures and the lack of integrity in our institutions," the band offers. "Affluent special interests have too much power in our political system — that's pretty much common knowledge at this point. Our dear friend Colby Donahue of Nightfear appears on the track, begging the listener to take cognizance of the world around them. All is not as it seems and that's becoming clearer every day."

ICYMI, we named Hell to Pay "Artists You Need to Know" for the month of February.
