Hear KITTIE exorcise past demons on new song "One Foot in the Grave"

Kittie's first album in 13 years, Firethe long-awaited follow-up to 2011's I've Failed You — is right around the corner, and today (May 30th), the Canuck metal trailblazers have offered up another taste in the form of new single "One Foot in the Grave."

Befitting the band's big comeback, the triumphant metal anthem is all about rising from the dead, and it comes accompanied by an energetic performance video that showcases the group, helmed by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander, in fine form.

Watch and listen above.

"The excitement is palpable in anticipation of our forthcoming album release, with the unleashing of our latest offering 'One Foot in the Grave,'" Morgan commented. "It's a feisty, high-energy song about coming back from the dead and rising from the ashes so to speak, paralleling our real life experiences as of late.

"Letting go of the demons of the past to begin anew is something that resonates with us deeply!"

Fire is due out June 21st via Sumerian Records and available for pre-order now in a variety of variants and bundles. These include a limited-edition Revolver vinyl colorway exclusively available at our shop and those of our sister brands Alternative Press and BrooklynVegan.
