Hear Knocked Loose's Bryan Garris Rage on Motionless in White's New Song "Slaughterhouse"

Metalcore titans collide on latest MIW single

Motionless in White are gearing up to drop their new album, Scoring the End of the World — due out June 10th via Roadrunner Records. So far, we heard an industrialized new song called "Cyberhex" and a slow-burning, introspective power-ballad called "Masterpiece." Today (May 13th), they're back with another preview called "Slaughterhouse," and this one's a total stomper that features vocals from Bryan Garris, frontman of metalcore's reigning champs Knocked Loose.

While the pairing might seem a little unexpected, given that Knocked Loose only recently emerged from the underground hardcore scene and started touring with bands like Gojira, the two bands have actually been linked up for several years now. Back in 2020, Knocked Loose were set to tour with Motionless in White on a run that ultimately got canceled by the pandemic.

The run was never rescheduled, but this collab makes up for it, showing that MIW still have a grip on their heavy side and proving what Garris — an exceptional screamer — is capable of outside of the confines of knuckle-smashing metalcore. Check out "Slaughterhouse" above via YouTube.
