Rap-metal specialist Hyro the Hero made many fans with his 2011 debut full-length, Birth, School, Work, Death, including Korn frontman Jonathan Davis who pointed to it as one of his favorite albums of that year. But it's a different member of Korn who has popped up to give Hyro a hand for the MC's follow-up: the nu-metal pioneers' guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer. He co-wrote the song "Devil in Disguise," which approximates an unholy mash-up of Rage Against the Machine and Munky's own band, and serves as the latest single off Flagged Channel, Hyro the Hero's forthcoming sophomore LP, due out June 29th via RED Music/Sony. You can hear the burly, slamming cut above, and pre-order your copy of Flagged Channel here.
