Hear L.A. Hardcore Act Terror's New Mosh-Pit Classic "This World Never Wanted Me"

Band's new song from upcoming full-length 'Total Retaliation' arrives with stylized performance video

Terror are veterans of hardcore, having kept a solid track record for music over the past fifteen years and six albums. Later this month, they'll be releasing their seventh full-length Total Retaliation, and today they've dropped "This World Never Wanted Me." The song was seemingly built to set off a live show from the start, the music begins with a slow, chugging build up with vocalist Scott Vogel yelling out "This world never wanted me" with pure venom. It eventually jumps into a crushing rhythm, the guitars swaying to accompany a band-wide gang vocal effort from the band, turning it into a certified pit classic.

"I think most of us that are drawn to underground music in one way or another feel like they don't fit in this fucked up place," says Vogel. "Whether we were thrown away and left to make it alone, or just constantly told we are not good enough, something told us that these sounds and the energy it creates was a way out and a way to find solace in the darkest times."

See the new video for "This World Never Wanted Me" and pre-order the album from Pure Noise Records before it's out September 28.
