We've been excited for the new Bill & Ted movie ever since it was first announced that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were reuniting for it after nearly 30 years away from the title roles. The fact that film comes with a soundtrack boasting new jams from both Lamb of God and Mastodon is just the proverbial icing on the cake. Said soundtrack dropped today (August 28th) along with the movie, Bill & Ted Face the Music, which hit on-demand and select theaters, and needless to say, we skipped right to tracks five, Mastodon's "Rufus Lives," and eight, LOG's "The Death of Us." The soundtrack also notably features Animals as Leaders, whose leader, Tosin Abasi, appears in the film as the official "air shredder," providing all the hot licks played during the iconic air guitar moments between the film's protagonists.
