Hear LINKIN PARK's riveting, newly unearthed 'Meteora' song "Fighting Myself"

Previously unreleased cut featured on 20th anniversary edition of classic album

It's time for another new Linkin Park song. Well, new to us, anyway. Last month, the nu-metal icons — currently on indefinite hiatus since singer Chester Bennington's tragic death in 2017 — announced a 20th anniversary reissue of their 2003 smash album, Meteora, which will feature several previously unreleased demos from the sessions that took place two decades back. They already shared a stunning track from that vault called "Lost", and today (March 24th) they've shared another one titled "Fighting Myself."

Compared to the brisk tempo of "Lost," which was ultimately cut from Meteora's tracklist in favor of "Numb," which it shares several qualities with, "Fighting Myself" has a more chopping, rap-influenced groove to it. Mike Shinoda's rapping is present during the verses, and then Bennington comes in howling during the hook with his iconic voice pumping at full volume and intensity. No wonder Shinoda describes it as "a definitive Linkin Park track." Listen above via YouTube.

The full Meteora 20th anniversary edition arrives April 7th, and you can pre-order it from the band's shop.
