Hear Living Colour Singer Team With Jeff Loomis on New Disciples of Verity Song

"Worthy" is debut single from Corey Glover's new trio, also featuring former Negative Sky, God Forbid members

Corey Glover, the vocalist of Living Colour, is one of the hardest working men in music. The veteran metal band put out their most recent album Shade in 2017, and Glover joined up with George Lynch of Dokken fame in 2018 for a new band called Ultraphonix. Today, Glover makes yet another auspicious return with a brand new project, Disciples of Verity. The trio is rounded out by former Negative Sky bassist George Pond and ex–God Forbid drummer Corey Pierce. The first single from the collaboration is called "Worthy," which features a ripping guest spot by guitarist Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Nevermore). Watch the lyric video above. Glover, of course, sounds as operatic as ever.

"No matter what you go through as long as you're breathing and still here to see another day, it is another chance," says Glover, about the track. "Being worthy though, that is the rub you are always trying to figure out. The heart and mind play against each other. Your mind may say you aren't good enough, but your heart knows you are worthy. That said, I am here for a reason. I am 'WORTHY'"

Disciples of Verity's first album, Pragmatic Sanction, is scheduled for a Winter release.
