If you've never heard of Low Estate, you're missing the fuck out. The multi-state supergroup of sorts features guitarist Geoff Garlock (Orchid), bassist Brendan Tobin (Red Sparowes), drummer Christopher Todd (ex-Sannhet) and a guy named Jimmy Hubbard, a.k.a. Revolver's own Creative Director, on vocals. The band released a critically acclaimed full-length, Covert Cult of Death, in 2017 via noted experimental label The Flenser, played a handful of shows then stepped back into the shadows. Today (June 1st), they've reared their ugly heads again (sorry, Jimmy) with a ripping new song, "Servants of Progress, Slaves to Fear." Released via Adult Swim's taste-making singles series, the cut showcases Low Estate's gnarly, angular mix of hardcore, noise-rock and extreme metal. Blast it below.
