Hear Marilyn Manson's Searing Cover of 'Lost Boys' Theme "Cry Little Sister"

Song recorded for upcoming X-Men movie 'The New Mutants'

Marilyn Manson has a long history of compelling covers — from "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Tainted Love" to "The KKK Took My Baby Away" and "This Is Halloween" — and now he's added to that legacy with a take on Gerard McMahon's "Cry Little Sister," which is best known as the theme to the 1987 cult classic The Lost Boys. Manson recorded the song for the soundtrack of the forthcoming X-Men movie The New Mutants.

The film isn't due until August 2019, but the shock rocker has already filmed a Bill Yukich–directed music video for his "Cry Little Sister" cover. Manson teased the video on Instagram in May, describing it as "a supernatural experience." No word yet on when the clip will premiere.
