Hear Max Cavalera and Son Team on Go Ahead and Die's New Death-Thrash Rager

Ferocious single "Truckload Full of Bodies" gets fittingly unhinged video

Revolver has an exclusive splatter vinyl variant of Go Ahead and Die's new self-titled debut album. It's limited to 300 so get yours before they're gone!

Featuring metal icon Max Cavalera and his son, Igor Amadeus, as well as Khemmis drummer Zach Coleman, Go Ahead and Die are a death-thrash supergroup with serious bona fides. The Arizona trio are set to drop their self-titled debut full-length on June 11th via Nuclear Blast, and they've given fans a first taste today (March 19th) in the form of ferocious lead single "Truckload Full of Bodies" and its visceral music video, directed by Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera. Watch and listen above.

"'Truckload Full of Bodies' is a dark X-ray of the COVID-19 pandemic," Max commented. "It examines the way certain politicians in 2020 didn't care about their citizens. Hypocrites took care of themselves, and did not care about the rest of us dying." Igor Amadeus added, "Like a riot breaking through your windows, G.A.A.D. arrives with a revolting mix of punk and metal, the perfect soundtrack to these dismal times."

In addition to the band members, Go Ahead and Die also features some big names behind the scenes. The record was mixed by Arthur Rizk, whose credits include Power Trip, Code Orange, Ghostemane and Cavalera Conspiracy, while the group's circle logo, featured on the album cover, was created by Carcass frontman Jeff Walker.

Go Ahead and Die's debut is available for pre-order now in an array of collectible formats and bundles including CD, cassette and colored vinyl. Among these, Revolver has an exclusive, limited-edition vinyl variant in "white with red splatter," limited to 300 worldwide. Grab yours now!
