San Jose's Hands of God made waves in the hardcore underground with their early singles and Blueprint for Self Destruction EPwhich hit via Flatspot in January 2019. Building their reputation on well-crafted yet barbaric metallic hardcore, the band is now readying a two-track promo tape poised for poser annihilation. The cassette and digital release falls in line with favorites like Incendiary and Xibalba, leaning heavily into influences that range from Obituary to black metal, never sparing the listener from an adventurous idea yet staying wholly committed to cohesive songwriting. The cuts "2 Shotz" and "Murdering of Souls" are some of the most snarling and furious hardcore offerings so far this year, and are available for streaming below for the first time.

"'2 Shotz' is about my friend Chris who passed away fighting a heroin addiction," details vocalist Jefferey Wang. "It expands on my own dealings with addiction, as well as how I dealt with the loss of my friend. 'Murdering of Souls' is a song I'd rather people interpret for themselves. It's pretty obvious to me, but I'm curious as to how people perceive my words on this one."

Stream both tracks and catch them on tour at the dates listed below. You can order your copy of Hands of God's new two-track release via Flatspot
