Hear Metallic Hardcore Act Mindfield's Ripping New Song "The Final Storm"

Floridian crew channel hurricane-level fury on latest single

Back in late 2019, Revolver helped introduce the world to Mindfield, a Floridian metallic hardcore deeply influenced by heavy hitters such as Sepultura, Merauder and Black Breath. Today (April 9th), we're stoked to spread the good word some more, with the premiere of the group's new rager "The Final Storm," the lead single off their forthcoming debut full-length, Seclusion of Sanity. Blast the song above via its high-octane performance video.

"'The Final Storm' was written when Hurricane Dorian was passing through Jacksonville," guitarist Rob Kotlinski tells us. "Colby [Mindfield's bassist] and I sat in the studio, threw back a few beers and finished the entire song. I wanted to compose something that sounded as brutal and devastating as a hurricane, and I think we achieved that. 'The Final Storm' is a little different from what we usually write but just as heavy. A year later, we could not be more pleased to be releasing this first single through Bullet Tooth and can't wait till you all hear the full album."

Seclusion of Sanity is due out on 12-inch colored vinyl on May 28th and on CD and digital on June 25th — you can pre-save it now. Physical formats, as well as exclusive new Mindfield merch (designed by Mike D from Killswitch Engage), are available via the Bullet Tooth store.
