Hear Nails' Two Savage New Songs, One Featuring Max Cavalera

"I Don't Want to Know You" and "Endless Resistance" aim to break necks

Seemingly out of the blue, metallic hardcore crew Nails — a.k.a. the angriest band in the world — has dropped off a new two-song single led off by the excoriating title track "I Don't Want to Know You," which premiered yesterday (April 12th) via SiriusXM. The second cut on the release, "Endless Resistance," features a guest turn by none other than Max Cavalera, of Sepultura, Soulfly, Nailbomb and Cavalera Conspiracy fame, who has sung the praises of Nails in the past. In characteristic form, "I Don't Want to Know You" doesn't even top the one-and-a-half-minute mark, but packs more face-melting riffs and geniune vitriol in its brief, whiplashing span than many full albums. "Endless Resistance," meanwhile, is a relative epic for Todd Jones and Co., surpassing three minutes in length, and leaning on some atypically stomping, mid-tempo grooves more akin to Cavalera's work. Check out the songs above and below — we advise cranking at full volume.
