Hear Neurosis Singer Steve Von Till's Meditative New Solo Song "Dreams of Trees"

Revered underground musician announces new album and first book

Steve Von Till is best known as one of the dual singer-guitarists in the cataclysmic post-metal force of nature that is Neurosis, but under his own name as well as the pseudonym Harvestman, he's been making mellower, more introspective folk-inflected music for decades. His latest solo undertakings are twofold: a new album, No Wilderness Deep Enough, and his first book, Harvestman: 23 Untitled Poems and Collected Lyrics. Both are due on August 7th courtesy of Neurosis' own label, Neurot Recordings, and can be pre-ordered here and here, respectively.

No Wilderness Deep Enough is presaged by the meditative lead single "Dreams of Trees," a swirling, hypnotic mélange of ambient, neo-classical and gothic Americana. Stream it above via YouTube, and see the track listing for the LP below. For its part, Von Till's book collects writing from across 20 years of his solo career, and will be printed in a limited hardback edition illustrated with linocuts by Mazatl.
