Earlier this month, we got word that guitar virtuoso Nita Strauss had rejoined Alice Cooper's band after taking a hiatus to tour as a member of popstar-turned-pop-punker Demi Lovato's backing ensemble. Now, Strauss has teamed with Cooper for a rocking new solo song, "Winner Takes All." It's the latest in a string of singles featuring big-name guest vocalists, including 2021's hit "Dead Inside" with Disturbed David Draiman and 2022's "The Wolf You Feed" with Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz. Crank "Winner Takes All" above.
"When we were working on the music for this album, there was no question that I wanted to create a song to collaborate with my longtime boss and friend, the legendary Alice Cooper," Strauss commented. "I think the track accomplishes what we set out to do — showcase Alice's voice and signature style on the backdrop of a heavy, modern rock track. After many years of lending my style of playing to Alice's music onstage, it was truly an honor to work together and hear his voice on one of my songs!"
Strauss will be touring with Cooper on all the shock-rock icons' 2023 tour dates — which include a run with Rob Zombie and a handful of dates with Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard.
