In addition to being a total dumpster fire of a year, 2020 also marks the 20th anniversary of Pantera's swan song Reinventing the Steel, which stands as one of the band's best albums in the minds of the group's two surviving members, Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown. To commemorate the milestone, Rhino Records is reissuing the classic LP with a new mix of the full album by longtime producer Terry Date, plus a selection of rare covers, radio edits and instrumentals. Reinventing The Steel (20th Anniversary Edition) is due out October 30th (you can pre-order it here), but today, the remastered version of B-sde "Immortally Insane" hit the internet. Recorded during the sessions for the album, the song was instead used on the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack. Blast it above, and for more on Reinventing, read our recent interview with Brown on the band's "great last performance."
