Hear Parkway Drive's Powerful New Song "Wishing Wells"

Australian metalcore outfit's new single arrives with intense, intimate music video

Australian metalcore outfit Parkway Drive have returned with a powerful new song, "Wishing Wells." The band has dropped off a music video for the ripper, as well; directed by Third Eye Visuals, the simple, stark clip comprises a continuous, close-up shot of frontman Winston McCall performing the track.

"Wishing Wells" arrives amid recording sessions for Parkway Drive's as-yet-untitled sixth album, the follow-up to 2015's Ire. McCall discussed the new material in a recent Metal Hammer interview, setting it up as the band's most ambitious record to date.

"We have gained so much momentum over the last couple of years, and we not only want to harness it, but do it justice," the singer explained. "There's no point in slacking off — I feel as though there are now expectations of what we can do and could be capable of. We don't want to just coast by; we want to blow everyone out of the water."

Parkway Drive are set to hit the road for a North American tour later this spring, followed by a string of European dates. Find a full literary below.
