Hear PERIPHERY's first new songs in 4 years "Wildfire" and "Zagreus"

Two singles from 'Periphery V: Djent Is Not a Genre'

In case you missed it earlier this week, Periphery have a new album on the way that's hilariously titled, Djent is Not a Genre. Out March 10th, it's the prog-metalcore band's first full-length since 2019, and today (January 12th) they've shared not one but two singles from the record, "Wildfire" and "Zagreus."

Fans of Periphery's equally virtuosic, crushing and catchy sound will not be disappointed. Blast them above and below via YouTube.

"We spent more time on Periphery V than any other release in our history," guitarist Mark Holcomb explained in a statement. "We challenged and pushed ourselves harder, and along the way we grew even closer as a band. We are so proud of the final results. I also wanted to mention how exceedingly grateful we are to our fans for being so patient in waiting for this record.

"We wanted to show our appreciation by giving you two songs today instead of one. We have a very busy 2023 and 2024 planned so we'll see you on the road!"

The record is out March 10th via the band's own 3DOT Recordings, and pre-orders are now available here. Check out the tracklisting and cover art below.
