Pop Evil have teamed with Fit for a King frontman Ryan Kirby for their new single, "Dead Reckoning," off their upcoming album, Skeletons. Befitting the guest spot from one of metalcore's leading vocalists, the song finds the radio-ruling hard-rock band leaning into their heaviest inclinations. Blast it above.
Pop Evil bassist Joey "Chicago" Walser brought the concept and instrumentals for "Dead Reckoning" to the table, with singer Leigh Kakaty co-writing the final song. Producer WZRD BLD heard the demo and immediately suggested Kirby as a perfect fit for a vocal collaboration. Describing the song, the band said, "'Dead Reckoning' is about ... a clear and unwavering decision a person makes within themselves."
Skeletons is due out March 17th via MNRK Heavy and available for pre-order now.
