Texas crossover-thrash juggernaut Power Trip have dropped off a furious new ripper for Adult Swim's Singles series. It's titled "Hornet's Nest," and fittingly so — between Blake Ibanez's whinnying guitar leads and Riley Gale's reverb-soaked screams, the one-off track proves as formidable as its namesake, bug-filled abode. Give it a spin below, and prepare to get stung. (Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves.)

Power Trip are set to wrap up their North American spring headlining tour behind last year's terrific Nightmare Logic LP this week in Austin, Texas, before pivoting to a short U.K. run in August. Earlier this spring, the thrashers released a new odds-and-ends compilation called Opening Fire. If you haven't read it already, check out our recent interview with Gale.
